In dairy cattle farms, the constant demand for specialized and reliable labor has now become a complex challenge to face every day.<\/p>\n
This need has been partly filled by the introduction of the milking robot in companies, however until now proportionate to small\/medium-sized farms.<\/p>\n
Thanks to an innovative and accurate design, the Merlin robot, integrated into the Meridian system, is able to become a protagonist even in farms with up to 1500 heads of milking animals.<\/p>\n
For large farms, the Batch Milking Meridian solution completely automates the milking process, maximizing production without neglecting animal comfort.

The idea behind Batch Milking Meridian is to set up a series of Merlin robots in a semicircle with their own waiting area for milking.<\/p>\n
The result of this project is a real automated milking parlor, which requires only one operator assigned to loading the animals.<\/p>\n
In fact, the return of the animal to its group of belonging is guaranteed by separating gates placed in various strategic points of the stable.<\/p>\n

Patented circularity concept<\/p>\n

The shape of the structure inside which the robots are positioned is circular, as is the exit path of the machines.<\/p>\n
This is for some fundamental reasons:<\/p>\n
1) When the animal passes on a linear path it is more predisposed to stop, unlike what happens in circular paths, as in the case of the Batch Milking Meridian;<\/p>\n
2) Optimization of spaces;<\/p>\n
3) The uninterrupted rotation of the advance gate, like a clock hand, allows the constant succession of groups during milking, using 100% of all the robots. The subsequent sorting of the animals to their box is entrusted to separating gates.<\/p>\n
4) The rear entrance and the front exit of the robot allow the circular arrangement of the robots<\/p>\n
