Backflush

Backflush

The cluster upstream washing system ( backflush) allows, after every opening of the exit gate of a side of the milking parlor, to wash automatically the clusters. The washing can be done with water only or with water and disinfectant. Many backflush systems in the market bring the water at the level of the cup through an appropriate tube which, due to its reduced diameter, can move only small quantities of water.

The peculiarity of TDM backflush is to insert big water quantities with high pressure using a dedicated PVC tube. Thanks to an appropriate valve, when the animals leave the milking room, the water flows in pipes, gets in the milk long tube, the cluster and the 4 teats, rinsing the whole milking cluster and the pipes till the milk valve. The remaining water is pushed away by jets of compressed air. The number of combined cycles of water and compressed air can be customized by every farm and is managed automatically by the washing program AD3000.
